Time slipped

holding all attention

we were given moments

and the time escaped

all blues and reds known

He the distant

far away

benefactor doled

them to us

and when we met

that day

in our very own world

inscribing a long silence

in our hearts

a mosaic in our heads

how FRIENDS

can be so deeply intertwined 

tap of palms and the last nod 

loosened upon our journeys

descended to sweltering valleys

and still while

climbing peaks in the burning sun

we remain bound by lessons 

each delivers

the mighty roars of resistance
